Sealed Indictment Accuses Stopa and Several Mark Stopa Federico Crime Family Attorneys for Fraud & Racketeering

Sources have told MarkStopaCrimes.com that a grand jury has prepared a sealed indictment against Stopa and the Mark Stopa-Federico Crime Family criminal. The crimes? RICO Racketeering and 1st Degree Fraud.

The grand jury has sealed the indictment for Mark Stopa, Adrienne Federico and over a dozen Florida attorneys. Prosecutors say they are waiting until the feds and the Florida Bar can conclude their respective investigations.

Authorities cite an “unremitting pattern of fraud and racketeering activity” by Stopa, Federico and their attorneys. Authorities also say the scope of the crimes was “breathtaking” in it’s scope and scale.

Stopa is facing a 20 count indictment with just racketeering and conspiracy alone. RICO carries a maximum potential penalty of life in prison and a $10 million fine.

Federico and the their attorneys are all facing decades in prison. Howver, some attorneys have reportedly been offered leniency in return for testifying against Mark Stopa.

Lifelong Pattern of Fraud, Deception and Theft

Early Life

Stopa began his young life as a troubled child of incest and sexual abuse. He suffered from a rare, incest-related genetic condition known as “Hermaphroditic Penile Agenesis.”

This condition caused him to have a very small nub penis together with gynecomastia man-boobs. The inbreeding left Stopa with as inferior intelligence and disproportionate downs-syndrome like body parts.

As a result, Stopa was ruthlessly mocked as a child. He wasn’t allowed to play on the school football team due to repeatedly failing his required physical. because. Stopa’s hermaphroditic genitalia appeared to be female in origin. District rules did not allow girls to play on boys sports teams. It also didn’t help that Stopa threw a football like an effeminate weirdo.

To cope with all the pain and rejection, Stopa spiraled into a frightening Omen-like psychopath. Classmates say he would throw kittens into rush hour traffic to watch them get flattened and laugh.

In high school, he was offered the position of “water boy” for the football team. School staff hoped this would help control his mental illness. However, he was repeatedly caught sniffing and masturbating to dirty football jock straps. School authorities had no choice but to put in afterschool detention and later expelled from the school.

The family was forced into becoming gypsy nomads moving from city to city. The family had escape and cover up little Mark’s never ending horrific childhood behavior.

Of course all of this turned Stopa’s adulthood into a sad and disappointing journey of lies, deception, fraud and theft.

Fired from Battaglia & Ross for Fraud & Misconduct

Stopa’s sociopathic behavior continued into his college years.

To pass the bar exam, it is reported Stopa had repeated homosexual gay sex with a Chinese national. Stopa then falsely accused the man of rape in order to blackmail him into taking the bar exam for him. The student did it out of fear of losing his student visa and being deported.

After “passing the bar exam,” Stopa got his big break with Battaglia & Ross. Unfortunately for Stopa, he was caught secretly poaching firm clients. He was also accused of over-billing hours and concealing and embezzling client settlement fees.

The last straw was when Stopa deceived a Battaglia & Ross client into deeding his home to Stopa as payment for attorney fees.

In 2004, Stopa had his first run-in with the FDLE and the Florida Bar. A whistleblower reported Stopa and Attorney Timothy W. Weber to the Florida AG for fraud and criminal misconduct. The senior partners at Battaglia & Ross were not happy that these miscreants were tarnishing the firm’s name.

The FDLE investigated and found it was a issue for the Florida Bar. The Florida Bar investigated the incident quietly covered up Weber and Stopa’s crimes. They did it in order to avoid a scandal.

Stopa Law Firm: Predatory Foreclosure Defense

Stopa launched Stopa Law Firm after being fired from Battaglia & Ross. This is when he began a predatory strategy targeting elderly homeowners in foreclosure.

Investigators allege Stopa severely abused his power and position as a prominent foreclosure defense attorney. He began conducting free hotel seminars with free dinners. He would then give a motivational sales pitch.

This wannabe Tom Vu’s goal was to lure in hundreds of vulnerable elderly senior citizens. He wanted to exploit their financial difficulties paying their mortgages during the financial crisis.

It was here that Stopa pitched his “default, delay and stay” foreclosure defense strategy. He advised his elderly clients in the audience to STOP paying their mortgage. He encouraged them to intentional go into default. Once, the lender foreclosed Stopa would instruct them to begin paying him monthly to delay the foreclosure. Therefore, they could live rent-free.

After dessert of low protein gruel, Stopa would announce an altar call. This would trigger a stampede of brainwashed geriatrics to sign up with his firm.

But Stopa’s real motive was ultimately to steal the deeds to their homes. Eventually his elderly clients grew tired of paying for foreclosure defense. That is when he kicked his plan into high gear with his “I have an investor…” SCAM.

He would tell his weary clients that he “had an investor.”

The investor would buy the deed to their home and pay them some cash. He told them the “investor” would payoff their mortgage. This way their credit would no longer be affected. As a result, they would walk away and get a fresh start.

It all sounded so good. Hundreds of his elderly foreclosure clients signed the deeds to their homes over to the “investor.”

Stopa’s Equity Skimming Rental Scam

Stopa immediately rented out the homes. Thus, obstructing the federally insured mortgage lenders. He would delay the cases with frivolous filings and mid-case appeals to stall for time. He did this all so he could continue skimming monthly rental equity.

Stopa’s clients later found out he LIED about everything. He never told them that HE was the investor. He used anonymous, nominee generated, New Mexico shell companies to conceal his identity.

Stopa also never paid off their mortgage. He also never closed the foreclosure case against them. He kept it open and obstructed their mortgage lender in their name for years. The goal was to collect attorney fees, settlements and skim the equity out of the home.

Stopa earned millions of dollars on this client scam alone.

Former clients say they would complain and threaten to go to the Florida Bar. Stopa would respond by flying into a demonic rage. He would threaten them to destroy them financially with endless litigation.

This is WHY no one ever sued Mark Stopa for fraud and theft. They were terrified he would manipulate the court system to crush them.

FDLE and the FBI have been investigating Mark Stopa since the raid on his office in August 2018.

FDLE escalated the investigation to the RICO division after investigators discovered the “enormous depth of fraud.”
